Washington: A new medical study in the United States has found that after recovering from coronavirus, patients' immune systems become more effective than ever to fight the virus again.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the study conducted at Rockefeller University in the United States said that if a patient recovering from the corona is exposed to the deadly virus again, the immune system can move faster and more efficiently. The quality of antibodies improves.
According to the report, research has revealed that the body's immune system not only remembers the novice coronavirus but also improves the quality of protective antibodies to fight the disease after recovery. Researcher Mike Nosenzog, who is involved in the study, said that during the research, the immune system of most healthy patients proved to be strong against the virus.
He said a recovering patient could potentially be protected from the virus for years, which is why there are fewer cases of recurrent coronary heart disease worldwide.
It is believed that several previous research reports have shown that the rate of antibodies in most coronavirus patients decreases in a few months, which weakens the immune system, but now a new study has recruited 87 patients. And researchers have confirmed that antibodies are low but do not affect the system.
Experts said that the level of antibodies can be reduced by up to 20% in 5 months, but they do not think that such a reduction is important, while the quality of other protective antibodies is improved.
